The way that matters
The West Highland Way runs from Milngavie on the outskirts of Glasgow for almost 100 miles through Drymen, along the shores of Loch Lomond, across Rannoch Moor to Fort William at the foot of Ben Nevis.
There is an official finishing line for the walk in the town itself, across the road from the Free Church. A man sits to rest his weary feet and bones after the journey and tells us that we are all pilgrims in this world and are travelling to an eternal destination set and determined by our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
“I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself: that where I am there you may be also.” John 14: 2,3
